Consider that you are wearing a gown, something like a flowing gown (Agbada) and you want to pass through a place where cooking or food preparation is going,

''And what do you do after passing through the area?''
''I'll release it and allow the dress to flow in its prosperity''
Man was created to enjoy life. Man was created to enjoy wealth. Man was created to enjoy relationship; vertically with God as well as horizontally with fellow men. Man was created with many capabilities; abilities to excel and take charge of the earth so blessed. Yet for all those, there is moderation and at times restrictions.
Have you considered how Adam and Eve were given all to eat except one? Gen 2:16 Why was it that the reserved one, which the Lord mentioned in Revelation, to belong to the saints at the end of the day (Rev 2:7) was what Adam and Eve longed for,and thereby, fell?
I posited, we could go to parties, Jesus went to one, but as a real Christian, you can't go to all parties. We can have relationships but our relationships are restricted to godliness. Oh! come and see the uniqueness of Jesus' gown (John 19:23) but it wasn't worn in provocation. We could crack jokes, but vulgarity is abolished. We could follow games and sports but not the orgies of godless chatters and movements. We could stand for the rights of the people but not in deceitful destruction, we could, we could, we could do many things but must check first the extent to which we are permitted not by man but by God who knew the capabilities of the man He had created.
Methinks, the world is like a food preparation path considering the above illustration, where our flowing gown must be held, so as not to be stained; this being our moderation, until we cross to the other side where the gown will not only flow of its own accord but where also divine breeze will pronounce its arrival (Rev 6:11)
