Would Esau have died? Choosing wealth over poverty.

The book of Genesis chapter 25 documented the story of Esau and Jacob, let's read from verse 27; 27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. 28 And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob. 29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: 30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom. 31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. 32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? 33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. 34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright. If anyone of us ever go into prostitution or armed or un-armed robbery/crime or any other vice with the excuse that our parent/guardian are poor and it was the only choice we had, we are bloody liars! If we take money or provisions from any politicians, knowing fully well they are deceiver, to vote for them because of the excuse that ''it's better to have little than none'' we've simply sold our birthright away - that is not the type of ''little'' the Scripture spoke about. Unfortunately, many are taught to seek for glamour. Have we asked any of the prostitutes if they've considered any other thing they could do apart from selling their bodies? They won't because many are taught, even in religious circles to seek for the glamours of life at the eventual detriment of their common well-beings. Let's go back to the story of Esau and Jacob. Esau was a cunning hunter (he knows how to hunt) a man of the field (had assess to more than animals - fruits, vegetable, even the bread and pottage of lentiles were from the field!). His father ate from his venison (Esau was a responsible man, the guy knew how to cook) - that was never said about Jacob. But Esau was overtaken by GREED! Most greedy politicians have been having their way because many of us are as GREEDY as they too are and we've sold our wealth away because of GREED. Would Esau have died if he was not given the food?
